Mike Kappitt joined Subway in March 2020 as the company’s first Chief Operating and Insights Officer. He is responsible for leading Subway’s Global Transformation Teams, as well as digital channels and platforms, including off-premises, loyalty, and gift cards. Mike also oversees the company’s analytics, insights, communications, and non-traditional development teams. Prior to joining Subway, Mike spent nearly a decade at Bloomin’ Brands where he served as President of Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and Global Chief Marketing Officer, as well as CMO for Outback Steakhouse.
